NaNoWriMo is gone, but the words are not.

I have joined a group at Willamette Writers with the purpose of supporting each other in writing this November. There is no NaNoWriMo, but it still lives in the hearts and word processors of many who participated in the past.

This is the perfect time for me to get some words in, since I have a little break from school. I had thought I would start last week, since my semester was over, but then I was reminded that I needed to submit documents for the upcoming residency by Monday, this week! That is done now, so finally back to The Ghost and the Mask, book 3.

I am going to track word count here.

Last week, all together, I got 839. Not a glowing number, but I was primarily working on a short story for the residency workshop. Today, so far, I’ve only got 200. But it’s something! Every word counts, right? I’ll come back tomorrow to report the full number.
