I won this #krampus book from @hocusreadings ! They wrapped it, wrote a nice personal message, and sent me buttons too. I especially love the adjunct demonologist one. So perfect. I can’t wait to read this. I did it! The cabinet is finished. I did not build it, only refinished it. It was a very beat up Craigslist purchase that I have worked on in spare minutes over the past three years or so. To be honest, I still need to touch up some paint from scuffs caused when putting it back together but it’s pretty much done. So nice to have it out of the garage and in the house finally. And to have this project off the todo list! If only brothers were like this in real life. TLDW: I did not get 50k words in November. I got closer to 6k. But I am writing and still excited about where it’s going. I’m in the final section of book 3 of The Ghost and the Mask, and I will finish it! Sometimes I need a break from writing to clear my head. I’m working on a corner cabinet and am very close to finishing that! I am going to give myself permission to work on it and not beat myself up for not writing. What do you do when you need a creative break from writing? This is about half of the books I’ve read so far this year. I read a lot of ebooks and library books too. Often I’ll get the audiobook from the library too and keep the book going while I do house chores or walk to pick up the kids. Another video update. Got a scam email. It’s a scam, right? I know all the cool people have read this already, but I just finished it. I’ve never read anything like it before. Part script, part news reports, but both uniquely executed. Fascinating, deeply thoughtful, and often funny. Illuminates truths we know but would rather leave hidden in the dark. Highly recommended. Apple shaker. I ate it anyway. I feel okay. A quick video update! I’ve finished another chapter of The Ghost and The Mask book three! I’m finally getting back to it and loving spending time with Akio and Masami again. No projected end date yet but I will be making a big push to finish the first draft this November.
